The Warrior Z Spod rod boasts an impressive test curve of 5.5lb, making it more than capable of launching a loaded spod huge distances with amazing accuracy. It still retains the classy look of the new Warrior Z range though, utilising a lighter blank than previous models with understated graphics and EVA butt grip.
To accommodate the largest Big Pit reels like our Stratos 12000E, the Warrior Z Spod has a CR20 screw fix reel seat. The guides are all Fox SLIKS which are ceramic lined to ensure they are suitable for use with braid. The guides also start with a 40mm butt ring which reduces friction when casting to help achieve greater distances, ending with a 16mm tip ring to ensure that your shock leader knot passes through with ease.
