In part one (Fun On The Float), David Hall catches up long time pal Jan, float fishing in the margins, with surprising results. Jan passes on lots of tips and demonstrates that you don’t have to cast 100 metres in order to catch fish. This is fun fishing at its best.
In part two (Boilies, Pop-Ups & Rigs) Jan talks about that phenomena that is carp baits, boilies and paste in particular. Why do they work? He also looks at other baits and explains why he thinks they work. He talks extensively about rigs, which ones to use and when. He then turns his attention to reels and explains how the development of the boilie and the launch of the Shimano Baitrunner was to change the face of carp fishing.
Part three (Boilies, Baits & Bedlam) centres on PVA sticks where Jan shows us how to get the best out of this devastating method. How long do you make them, how much feed do you put in? It’s all there. Then he turns his attention to baits and along the way he catches plenty of carp.
